The brain is pattern seeking and survival orientated. Learning is a natural process and it goes on all the time. When a baby is born, its brain is ready to learn and to make the connections that will help it make sense of the World it has entered. Our job is to help all children to build connections, make sense of the World and begin the journey towards independence and resilience that is what learning is all about.
